Bruce Heywood | Board Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

With 17 years of experience managing real estate development in the health care industry, Bruce is a little obsessed with building medical facilities. He began his health care career as Nueterra's Development VP, where he oversaw the development of five hospitals and twelve ambulatory surgical centers. He has since worked privately to develop over 600,000 square feet of medical facilities.

Elmer Sisneros | Director and Development Advisor

Elmer is a medical go-getter. With 20+ years of experience in patient care as a licensed physician assistant, Elmer has developed and operated multiple urgent care centers. He currently owns the locally-loved Five Minute Clinic in Heber City – the very facility that inspired us to launch Corner Clinic. Elmer spends his time not only managing his clinic, but also treating most of the patients themselves, learning what it is people need most from a healthcare facility. 

David Heywood | Director

David worked as a CPA at Ernst and Young before attending the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University, where he graduated magna cum laude. A bit of an overachiever, he concurrently graduated with an MBA from the Marriott School of Management, finishing in the top 10% of his class. David now works with The Kunzler Law group as a law clerk, but takes time to make sure we WRITE IMPORTANT THINGS IN ALL-CAPS. 

Shane Whittier | Chief Operating Officer

From Intermountain Healthcare in Utah to Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, NC, Shane has worked as a healthcare administrator and business development manager for almost a decade. He has a master's degree in business, but we gave him an honorary degree in getting stuff done.

Jacob Heywood | Chief Financial Officer

Jacob worked for four years at Ernst and Young offices in San Jose and London as an accountant and manager in international tax. He holds a master’s degree in taxation from Brigham Young University and is a certified public accountant – which means he constantly checks Excel to make sure we are audit we can be. 

Ben Pike | Development Manager

Ben Pike graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree  in Facility and Property Management. Before joining the Corner Clinic team, he worked as a Commercial Account Manager for Vision Real Estate in Provo, Utah. Also a licensed real estate agent, Ben is our in-house negotiator, follow-upper, and deal closer.
